Hello. My name is Amanda Antetomaso. I am an English/Journalism major and working towards a communications minor. While being a journalism major requires a lot of reading/writing of nonfiction pieces, I personally prefer fiction so picking me favorite piece of nonfiction work for this assignment was a bit of a struggle. I enjoy writing fiction more just because it solely isn't based on truth, which makes writing more intense and mysterious.  In the past year as a journalism major you cant even imagine all the nonfictional reading  had to do, especially with this last election. But for fun my favorite piece of nonfiction work out have to be "The Power of Letting Go" by John Purkiss. This book talks about not letting the past get to you,  helps you focus on things you can control rather than things you cannot. I have a head time moving on from certain situation and this book was a magnificent read.  The author uses personal stories to help move the book along and provides great advice on how to help let go of things.

"When you let go, you live intuitively."
