I am sitting in the middle of winter wonderland, mesmerized by the snow flurrying all around me. I am unbothered by the cold as I am surrounded by this thick white blanket, which is already at least 4 inches high. I am comforted by the beauty of winter which sadly only comes once a year. I feel lucky enough to live in a place with every season and feel sorry for those living down south who will never experience this. Snowfall is especially entracing. Memories of my childhood come flooding back, as vivid images of my siblings and I playing in the snow together fill my head. Who knew a season could hold such nostalgia.

ReplyDeleteI love how you talk about childhood nostalgia in your paragraph. That's a huge part of the winter for me, too. Something about the snow and the overall mood of the season brings back so many memories and I always find myself reminiscing on my childhood. Nice job :)
